This seems to be an awful design. It's confusing and over-engineered. It's going to confuse the crap out of most normal players, many of whom are absolutely going to think that they're upgrading the relics (when it's the slots).
You now will need to understand the relationship of: artifact knowledge to artifact power, artifact power to artifact level, artifact level to relic socket rank, relic socket rank to relic trait level (and don't mix up relic traits with artifact traits!), ... It's too much complexity presented in too much of a "one thing tacked onto the next" way. Flatten out how it works, so that the systems aren't so hierarchically dependent on each other.
The third act takes place thirty-seven days later in the General Court of Salem, during the trial of Martha Corey. Francis and Giles desperately interrupt the proceedings, demanding to be heard. The court is recessed and the men thrown out of the main room, reconvening in an adjacent room. John Proctor arrives with Mary Warren and they inform Deputy Governor Danforth and Judge Hathorne about the girls' lies. Danforth then informs an unaware John that Elizabeth is pregnant, and promises to spare her from execution until the child is born, hoping to persuade John to withdraw his case. John refuses to back down and submits a deposition signed by ninety-one locals attesting to the good character of Elizabeth, Rebecca Nurse and Martha Corey. Herrick also attests to John's truthfulness as well.
The second row unlocks at Artifact level 60, 63, and 66.
On the images there were 1 trait in first row, 2 traits on second row and 3 traits on third row... how does it work with second row unlocking on 3 different artifact levels while only having 2 traits? Or did something change?
With Artifact Level 60, you can unlock one of the two options on the second row of the first Relic.
With Artifact Level 63, you can unlock one of the two options on the second row of the second Relic.
With Artifact Level 63, you can unlock one of the two options on the second row of the third Relic.
You only unlock one of the two options every time, but you can choose which.
